Going GREEN
Now i don't make it habit to use public restrooms, at times i find it a necessity. Today was one of those days. I sat down and immediatly noticed that the person who occupied this resting place prior to my arrival had apparently torn off way to much paper. Instead of flushing this extra paper, they thought it appropriate to carefully fold the paper and place it neatly over the roll ready for the next occupant. Now i see this person as a conservationist, someone who cares greatly for the environment, willing to go that extra mile. So i used this paper but needed just a little more to complete the task. I too tore off to much paper and thought i needed to extend this GREEN effort to the next lucky person. I left my folded extra paper and exited with a smile. As i opened the door someone was waiting for this very busy resting place. I held the door for this gentleman and gave him an excited you're welcome.
So if you ever find neatly folded paper in your stall think of me!

Thanks for the visual Trent! I thought Klynt was the only person I knew that folds toilet paper.
Speaking of toilet paper, we bought some the other day and the label read "Pissue Paper." Appropriate, don't you think?
I think it very odd not to fold the paper! I would guess that "bunchers" are in the minority.
Green or not I would not use pre- folded paper from a public restroom! If If it doesn't come out of the bin and I do the folding, it's way too scary to use.
Just as long as society does not take us to next level of "going green". I can only imagine what that would be? Would you carry cotton material with you and then wash it at home? Or worse yet, not use anything? I am all for caring for the environment, but I must say, I am selfish when it comes to personal hygiene. If they ever start even thinking about taking toilet paper off the market to save trees, I would buy enough to fill my entire spare room, that's for sure.
I will just continue to recycle paper at work!
Kami,
I guess we now know how you really feel about the environment!
This post disturbed me on many levels.
#1. Sitting on public toilets
#2. Obviously using someone else's folded paper
#3. Leaving your folded paper for someone els to use
#4. That you would even tell anyone you did this
#5.Equating unhygenic habbits with environmentalism-actually, that one makes sense
